1. Zoo Miami, South Miami Heights:
Hippos, gorillas, vipers, and other creatures are housed in this one and only subtropical zoo in the United States. It boasts more than 3,000 different species and is spread out over 750 acres of land.
2. Seaquarium — Virginia Key:
There is a lot to do here, whether you want to play with penguins or swim with dolphins and seals. See the stunning flamingos basking in the sun or observe the manatees and sea turtles.
3. Key Biscayne
While the kids enjoy fun at the beach playground, you can hire a cabana. One of the best attractions for families in this area is the family amusement center, which contains a carousel and a roller rink. You can hire bicycles or go on a hike in the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park if you continue further south.
4. Miami Children’s Museum — Watson Island
The Miami Children's Museum is a great place to pack the day full of entertaining activities for children. There is a cruise ship exhibit there, along with a number of regional specialties and some marine tanks displaying Florida animals.
5. Barton G. — Miami Beach
You've never had cotton candy like this before. Although the meal is a tad costly, the menu features some truly unique items. You might need to provide some supervision for the younger children, but Barton G is the master of sweets.Try out the Marie Antoinette's Head cotton candy pompadour, as an example. Moreover, there is Carnival Fun Cake, a funnel cake that is served with a little shooting range on the dish.
